Great Britain Grappling is recognised as the Great Britain FILA by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA),theWorld Grappling. As such club membership of Great Britain Grappling is accepted around the world.

There are many influences on grappling from both internal and external bodies. Changes in medical knowledge, legal legislation, EEC directives and of course changes passed by the International Governing Body FILA on matters specific to Grappling. Through the Grappling Committee information will be supplied from various legislative bodies provide clear and concise informative direction to member clubs.
ENTRY ONTO THE NATIONAL CALENDAR
Any information relating to Grappling events, course, grading or competitions etc taking place at a member club can be placed in the National Calendar of Events by simply informing us The Calendar of Events is available online.
HOW DOES MY CLUB JOIN?
Please send in a completed Club Membership Application form (a form can be down loaded from this page) along with the fee of £50. We then send your application to the Committee for approval. Once this approval has been gained, your application will be processed and your club is a Grappling Great Britain Member Club. The whole process from date of application to approval should take no longer than two weeks and in most cases a lot less. Club membership resources
